| Texas Tech's School of Music is directly
North of the Student Union Building. Its
parking lot is painted like a football field,
and is where all marching rehearsals are
held. Parking is not permitted in this lot
during the rehearsal hours of the band. During summer band, the guard often practices under shade trees just to the East of the parking lot. If the weather is bad, we are able to move inside to the hallway outside of Hemmle Recital Hall. Having the practice lot so close to the music building is very nice for anyone who wants to run through their routine and marching coordinates when they have a few extra minutes. |
